When you call, text, email, or use a form on our website, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, town, and the details you give us about your garage door, opener, or project. When you pay an invoice, payment is handled by our payment processor (Square); we do not store your full card or bank account number.
How we use your information
We use your information to answer your questions, schedule and complete service visits, send estimates, proposals and invoices, order materials for your job, and keep a record of work done at your property so we can serve you better in the future.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you check the box on our website, or otherwise tell us it is OK to text you, we may send you text messages about your service request — for example appointment reminders, on-the-way notices, order and installation updates, estimate and invoice notices, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or reply HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not required to get service from us.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing described in the next section excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with companies that help us run our business, and only as needed to serve you — for example our payment processor (Square), our email and file storage provider (Google), our business phone and texting provider, and suppliers when we order a door or parts for your job. These companies may use your information only to provide their service to us. We may also share information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and job records for as long as needed to provide service, honor warranties, and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information, or stop contacting you, at any time by calling 906-370-5535 or emailing info@atlanticoverheaddoor.com. To stop text messages, reply STOP. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
